I agree, we use LinkedIn extensively in our search practice, and I encourage all of our recruiters to do the same.

One of my favorite functions is the ability to use groups to quickly contact people within a niche that may not be in your own network. The only thing that I really wish we had was an easy way to look up phone numbers and e-mail addresses on people outside of our own network.
