iCims (ATS) | EmployeeScreenIQ (Smarter Screening)

Kathleen Kurke interviews Nick Miller, an expert story teller who shares his method of engagement by painting an emotional picture that the client can easily define in an unobtrusive two way conversation that ends with a "light-bulb" conclusion. The foundation of his method is set in your ability to tell a story. Granted, we are not all equal in this manner, but fret not, for story telling is something that each of us can learn with basic phrases, an ear for cadence and repeatable practice. This is an interview you can't afford not to listen to.

Who is Kathleen Kurke? As National Practice Leader, Kathleen has remained a leader in the executive search industry for the last 17 years of her recruiting career. Kathleen was selected for membership in the Pinnacle Society in 1995, a recruiting industry honor society recognizing the top 60 executive recruiters worldwide, and serves as the President of this prestigious society.

Great message and show, although a little long to listen to while working. It is the stories that give the most insight to candidates, and you don't get this from a resume. A phone screen or video interview could provide an opportunity for story telling without paying for travel for the candidate to come in.
