What is the advantage of an ATS over a database like PCRecruiter?

Is iCims able to adapt exactly to what the user needs? If I want to add a "button" on my screen for a certain function, can that be done?

Many companies already have an ATS, or some modules in place. How does iCims address converting these firms to the SaaS offering? How significant (and risky) is that effort, and who performs it?

This will seach an existing internal database of resumes I assume, How is it different then just using Google for my desktop inwhich has the shortcut to resumes on it.

What is the size of your typical customer? Recruiter wise?

Sounds great but given the current economic climate, many organizations who may be in need of a new ATS solution may not have a large budget for a new solution. Does your product provide a solution at different expense levels while still being effective at each level?

What's exceptional about this technology is that they have customers who are a third party recruiting/staffing company to a Fortune 500 company. Not only is the technology fantastic, but the people at icims are good people. We have gotten to know Susan Vitale, and she knows how to take care of people.

This is interesting, but it really sounds like this program is more niched to larger companies but is really not a fit for the smaller third party recruiting office. This venue is an enjoyable and meaningful way of getting out to the field. Thank you for sharing.
